013 – Peeling Oranges with Ada Limón

We’re Peeling Oranges with Ada Limón

We’re peeling oranges with Ada Limón.

Ada Limón is the award-winning author of the poetry collections The Carrying, Bright Dead Things, and several other books, poems, and essays. She lives in Lexington, Kentucky.

We’ll be talking about voice, faith, and answering the most impossible question of all: what is poetry. We’ll also be talking about comics and revenge monsters.

A Quick Summary of What to Expect

We’ll start with a clip of Ada Limón’s performance at City of Asylum from April 2nd, 2021, celebrating Ada Limón and the 15th anniversary of her debut collection, Lucky Wreck from Autumn House Press. We’ll transition to an interview Adriana just did with Ada, some conversation from us, and finally we’ll get to what we’re reading and some thoughts for the road.
